Overview
Microsoft Lync 2013 (Preview) VDI plug-in enables you to experience local like audio and video in peer-to-peer calls and conference calls when using Microsoft Lync 2013 (Preview) in a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Environment
System requirements
Supported operating systems: Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows 8, Windows 8 Release Preview, Windows Embedded Standard 7
- System Requirements to install the plugin on a local computer:
- For RDP scenarios: Windows 8 Release Preview (8400) *
- For non-RDP scenarios: Windows Embedded Standard 7**, Windows 7 with SP1**
- Minimum CPU supported: 1.5 GHz processor
- Minimum Memory supported: 2 gigabyte (GB) of RAM
- Minimum space required for installation: 1.3 gigabyte (GB)
NOTE:
* Local System must be running Windows 8 Release Preview (8400) for using Lync VDI 2013 with Microsoft RDP.
** See instructions from your Desktop Virtualization provider for using Lync VDI 2013 on other platforms.
